There comes a moment when a traveler, weary of familiar places, hears whispers of another land—a world beyond the known, shimmering at the edges of perception. Some hear the call and begin to seek it. Others stay where they are, close to the fire that has always warmed them, even as its embers turn to ash. And then there are those who have already visited this new world in their dreams. Those who have the ability to describe the new land so vividly that others who are ready can begin to imagine it for themselves.
We are in a time of world-splitting. The realities that people experience are becoming more and more dictated by the energetic frequency we hold. The choices people make—whether to live from love, trust, and creative expansion, or from fear, control, and scarcity—are shaping entirely different experiences of life. And over time, these realities will diverge so drastically that we will no longer be able to perceive the one we do not resonate with. Until then, we are all living together in ever-expanding chaos —where some are reaching for a new way, while others cling tightly to what is collapsing.
The Pull of the Old World
For those holding the vision of a new world, it is tempting—so tempting—to look back. To try to convince those still bound to struggle that another way is possible. To feel the gravitational pull of outrage, of injustice, of wanting to prove that love, compassion, and collective well-being are the real way forward. It is human to want others to see what you see. It is human to want to save those still caught in the undertow of fear.
But the work of creatives and visionaries is not to rescue. The work of creatives and visionaries is to witness and describe—to hold steady to the frequency of what is emerging rather than sinking into the chaos of what is dissolving. Every time we engage in the fight against the old, we anchor ourselves to it. Every time we argue with those who cannot yet see, we plant one foot back in the crumbling foundation.
This is why we must keep describing the new land that maybe only we can see. Not because we need to prove it, but because we need to make it real for those who are ready to step into it.
The Nature of the Split
Some may feel this shift as an internal battle, the pull between old habits of fear and new choices rooted in trust. Others may see it externally—the way certain people seem to be moving into completely different realities, no longer able to find common ground. The key here is to recognize that this is not a mistake. It is not a failure. It is the natural result of humanity shifting into greater energetic alignment.
Those who believe life is about competition, scarcity, and enemies outnumbering friends will continue to experience that reality, deepening into it. Those who believe in collaboration, abundance, and the power of love will continue to see and build more of that. Over time, the gap between these realities will widen, until they are so distinct that those living in one will no longer perceive the other.
This does not mean there is no hope for those still caught in fear. It means that each person must choose for themselves. And the best way to guide others out of the old world is not to fight their beliefs—it is to embody and express the new so fully that it becomes undeniable. And irresistible.
Fighting the Old World keeps it Alive
We can get caught in struggling, resisting, and fighting mode, believing we must force the new world into being or battle the old one into submission. That fuels our exhaustion, burnout, and despair. The idea that we have to hammer a new world into existence is an illusion born from the old paradigm itself—the paradigm of opposition, control, and domination.
But this is not how true transformation happens.
We are not here to fight our way into the new reality. We are here to hold the vision, embody the frequency, and create from that place. We are here to describe the new way so vividly, so undeniably, that others start to see it too—not because we forced them to look, but because the resonance of what we are creating calls them forward.
This is not about disengagement or passivity—it is about choosing the most powerful way to lead. Creation, not opposition. Expansion, not exhaustion. Vision, not force.
The Different Roles in This Evolutionary Moment
If you feel guilty for not being ‘on the frontlines,’ know this: your role is no less essential. The world needs those who can see beyond the collapse, who can dream a new path into being.
Not everyone is meant to hold the visionary role. Some are here as healers, protectors, and advocates on the ground—the ones who step into the trenches, confronting harm and holding space for the suffering. Their role is vital. The old world is dissolving, and some are meant to tend to the wounds and chaos it leaves behind. Others are here to bridge the worlds, guiding those who are ready to transition from the old into the new.
Artists are the witness-bearers. We make the unseen visible and the intangible palpable. We give shape, color, meaning, and vibration to what is unfolding so it can be felt, seen, and understood. Through our work, we help others process what is happening—transmuting pain, fear, and grief into something they can hold, move through, and integrate. We play an integral role in metabolizing the shifting world, making space for what comes next.
Visionaries—the creative seers—have a different task. Our work is not to fight the darkness, but to illuminate a new way. Our role is to create and describe what we can become so that those who are ready can help bring it into form. Without us holding this frequency, the world remains locked in reaction rather than stepping into the generative power of what is possible.
So if you feel torn—if you wonder whether you should be in the streets pushing against the old world—remember that maybe your work is to create, not to fight. To paint, speak, write, and dance what is leaving, while dreaming, growing, and visualizing what is to come. This is not an escape from reality; it is an essential role in building a new one.
How to Stay Anchored in the New World
Let go of convincing. The moment you feel yourself trying to ‘prove’ there is a better way, recognize that you are being pulled back into the old one. Instead, describe it. Show it. Live it.
Recognize when you are being called back into the fight. Notice when external events, media, or individuals are trying to hook you into fear, outrage, or despair. Pause. Re-center. Choose again.
Create instead of react. The old world thrives on reaction. The new world is built on creation. What can you build today that reflects the frequency you want to live in?
Speak to those who are listening. Do not waste your breath on those who are not yet ready. Trust that they will find their way in their own time.
Trust the vision. It is not your job to make others see. It is your job to see clearly enough that when the time comes, there is a path for others to follow.
The Invitation
If you are feeling the split, if you are sensing the pull between the old and the new, this is your invitation to stand fully in the world you want to live in. Not just in your thoughts, but in your actions, your conversations, your creations. This is your invitation to release the need to save or convince, and instead, to be the lighthouse.
Because there are those who are looking for the light. And they will find it, not through argument or persuasion, but through the undeniable resonance of something truer.
Keep describing the new world. Keep building it with your words, your presence, your being. And know that others will find their way there, in their own time. And trust that we will all get there. Eventually.
I would love to know your thoughts about this. What do you see is your role in both the current chaos, and what’s to come?
